CHECK LIST FOR INSTALLING SURELOCK HUB LOCKS ON QUICKIE-TI WHEELCHAIR
1. ADJUST THE QUICK-RELEASE AXLE FOR MINIMUM IN-AND-OUT MOVEMNET. 2. ATTACH 20-HOLE DISC TO THE SPOX SPINERGY HUB ON THE WHEEL . 3. FASTEN THE HANDLE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE WHEELCHAIR USING THE ALLEN WRENCH PROVIDED. 4. ROUTE THE CABLE AND THE HUB LOCK BETWEEN THE FRAME OF THE CHAIR AND OVER THE AXLE TUBE. 5. THE LONG CABLE GOES TO THE LEFT HAND WHEEL AND THE SHORT CABLE GOES TO THE RIGHT-HAND WHEEL. 6. SLIP THE HUB LOCK OVER THE AXLE LEAVING IT LOOSE.
7. INSTALL THE WHEEL ONTO THE AXLE TUBE.
8. FASTEN THE CABLES TO THE AXLE IN APPROPRIATE PLACES WITH THE CABLE TIES PROVIDED. 9. ROTATE THE WHEEL TO SEE THAT THE DISC RUNS TRUE AND THERE IS NO WOBBLE IN THE DISC. 10. LOCK THE HUB-LOCKS HANDLE IN VERTICAL POSITION, CHECK TO SEE THAT THERE IS NO LOOSENESS OF THE PIN IN THE HOLE, IF THERE IS READJUST AND MOVE IT A LITTLE CLOSER TO THE DISC, CLOSE THE CAM HANDLE.
DO NOT TRY TO ADJUST THE PIN INTO THE HOLE BY MEANS OF THE CABLES. THE HUB LOCKS ARE SET UP AT THE FACTORY FOR MAXIMUM TRAVEL OF THE PIN, TO TURN THE CABLES THINKING YOU CAN ADJUST THE PIN IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT. IF YOU TRY ADJUSTING THE CABLES, YOU PROBABLY WILL END UP BREAKING THEM OR GETTING THEM COMPLETELY OUT OF ADJUSTMENT USE THE CAM-LOCK HANDLE AND SLIDE THE PIN INTO THE HOLE SOLIDLY, DO NOT TRY TO DO THIS BY MEANS OF THE CABLES
